Gary and Saul have been friends for over 30 years, since their college days in Southern California. In addition to providing design input, Gary oversees sales and marketing for Koll. It's a couple times a day where I have to whip open up my little calculator app to get a decimal equivalent. Be it for a patch 3/8 (.375) of the day, or a decal 7/16" (.4375") away from the edge.

The result is an embodiment of Saul's creativity designed to become an extension of yours, a guitar that sets itself apart from others the moment you pick it up. The machined craftsmanship is stunning. Quite frankly, you'll have this pen THE REST OF YER LIFE.

Aaron Draplin

Saul got his professional start as a luthier at the legendary World of Strings in Long Beach, California. Under the strict tutelage of violin maker Jon Peterson, he immersed himself in all aspects of instrument creation and restoration. Saul worked with TVJONES as technician and writer for the Gretsch company for several years. All the while, he has toured extensively and has made numerous records and CDs with pop/punk acts The Charms, 8 Foot Tender, and The Lovesores. During this time he polished up his design skills, learned how to weld and how to develop a photo in nasty chemicals.

I have a sizeable collection of the things. The EXACT same material and manufacturing processes as you'd see on a nameplate on a piece of Boeing machinery. “Twas the twelfth night of DDC Merchmas,While Spears was counting his vault of Eeeks,Durbin was burping the cutest baby in Texas,Vandersteen was DM’ing a guy named Fleeks. We're thankful for each and every order.

DKNG strives to provide their clients with the image and recognition that they deserve. Saul's work has been featured in Guitar Player, Vintage Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Premier Guitar, Guitar Aficionado, Fretboard Journal, and many other publications. He makes his home in Southwest Portland with his longtime partner Denise, their two daughters, two cats, and one big sloppy mutt named Louie.

Handheld versions 11/64 (.171875) of the time, and wall versions 49/64 (.765625) of the time. I have a couple of vintage ones in the DDC Archives, but just know if I started using them, I'd beat the hell out of them like 17/32 (.53125) of the time and they go missing or whatever. Bred from the loins of the proud Midwest, this little fucker was squeezed out in Detroit, in the year 1973 to the proud parents of Jim and Lauren Draplin. They are out in the world, and it's been a blast seeing people's stashes, trades and enjoyment of these ghouls. I started a "Dinosaur J Freak Scene Documentary" cut myself a couple days back.

Going back to this one, "My name is Will Hodges and I make sweet machined pens." Some filled their covers with sketch and decal,Others kept them pristine and perfectly clean,Jason Bluike swaddled his in stitched leather,Please remember the sweet smile of Pauline. Some liked plain, some liked graph,A couple lined lined, and a few reticule grid,Ralph was concerned about fountain pen ink,A Ph factor of 666 was scoffed at and forbid. Lary completed his third book after supper,Barry was lost in a deep glade of bluegrass,Tina was needling the space of Puget,Clayton had Cadbury smeared on the ass…phalt.

These ornamental and functional accessories complete the look and furthermore enable you to include a decorative element to your space. What began as an experiment in guitar construction on the kitchen table of his college apartment in 1986 turned into a career for Saul. A constant maker of things and a guitar player since age 12, Saul eventually found his place at college studying and creating sculpture, earning a Bachelors degree in Fine Art.
